Job Description
This is a remote position.
We re looking for a fulltime CloudNative Application Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for designing and building cloudnative (i.e. serverless) applications and backend services for our web and mobile apps using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Your daytoday tasks will include designing implementing and maintaining cloudnative solutions and CI/CD pipelines integrating with AWS services monitoring and optimizing application performance and ensuring the scalability and security of our cloud solutions. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise. You will create applications independently; not just maintain what others have built. This is NOT a devops role.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience building cloudnative applications with services from AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in developing cloudnative applications using services such as cloud functions singletable NoSQL data stores cloud storage etc.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Strong programming skills preferably in languages such as TypeScript or Python
- Experience with infrastructureascode tools like CDK CloudFormation or Terraform
- Proficiency creating and maintaining eventdriven cloudnative applications
- Understanding of security best practices in cloudnative development
- Excellent problemsolving skills analytical skills communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
