Lesson planning: Create engaging lesson plans that encourage student participation
Teaching: Teach students English language skills through classroom discussion and openended questions
Grading: Grade tests and essays and track student progress
Communication: Communicate with parents and provide them with information about their childs progress
Extracurricular activities: Participate in and organize school extracurricular activities
Competitions: Prepare students for subjectbased competitions and events
Homework: Set homework that is relevant to the students ability and workload
Behavior: Promote high standards of behavior and build productive relationships with students
TGTs typically need to have a bachelors degree in English or education and a teaching certification or license. They should also have a deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements and have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
