Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application.
You will be dedicated to quality using exceptional communication skills to keep our worldclass systems running. With your deep product knowledge you will accurately define client issues and interpret and design resolutions.
Your typical day will involve providing ongoing support to clients troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the smooth functioning of the system or application.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to workrelated problems.
Provide ongoing support to clients addressing their technical issues and concerns.
Troubleshoot system or application problems and identify root causes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Ensure the smooth functioning of the system or application by monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and issue resolutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
Good To Have Skills: Experience with SQL Server or Oracle Database Administration.
Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for database systems.
Familiarity with database security and access control.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 46 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
A 15 years fulltime education is required.
