Job Description

We are hiring Director of Nursing to a leading Nursing Home in DublinIreland.
Responsibilities
- Make sure that the companys personcentred approach and its policies and procedures are followed while providing highquality care.
- Make sure that any service deficiencies are handled in accordance with the companies Policies for Complaints and Elder Abuse
- Openly and politely communicate with all employees residents families other medical professionals and guests in a way that promotes the house and Bartra.
- Inform and encourage all employees about Batras personcentred care concept.
- Make ensuring that all internal requests for corporate reports and information are prepared and delivered on schedule.
- To guarantee that the residential home satisfies all legal and regulatory obligations
- Make sure the residential home is ready for the WRC EHO fire officer HIQA and Bartra internal inspections.
Requirements
- A general nurse who is listed on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands Register of Nurses.
- Credentials in Leadership and Management
- Postgraduate Gerontology Masters or Diploma
- PostRegistration Qualification in Dementia Nursing.
- Three years of postgraduate experience is required with at least two of those years spent providing care for the elderly within the preceding six years.
- Three years or more of experience managing people in the health and social care sector.
