The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and costeffective operation of the manufacturing plant meeting production objectives while adhering to the highest standards of quality safety and environmental compliance. The role demands strategic leadership to optimize processes manage resources effectively and foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement business strategies in alignment with organizational goals ensuring the plants longterm profitability and growth.
- Lead the development and execution of medium and longterm operational strategies to ensure production meets customer demand in terms of quality quantity and cost.
- Oversee the plants production processes including injection molding injection blow molding and blow molding operations.
- Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational efficiency financial performance and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to identify opportunities and address operational challenges.
- Lead and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives including 5S Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices.
- Supervise and develop the leadership team ensuring alignment with company values and fostering a highperformance culture.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field (required).
- Postgraduate degree in Industrial Management or a related discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in operational management project execution and resource allocation.
- Indepth knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and regulatory compliance related to safety quality and the environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 810 years in operational leadership roles in manufacturing industrial processes or engineering settings.
- Proven track record of managing largescale manufacturing operations with specific experience in Lean Manufacturing TPM and operational excellence.
- Experience working with unionized environments and managing diverse workforces is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
- Knowledge of GMP food safety and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Conflict resolution and strategic decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English (required); basic Portuguese is an advantage.
- Proficiency in project management budget oversight and performance analysis

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management.
