JOS2101 Sales Executive WA
Starting base salary: $7595K (uncapped & agressive commission)
Summary
We are a privately held organization headquartered in Washington State that specializes in selling building materials to customers (project owners) in the multifamily commercial and residential construction disciplines. We operate branches and product divisions throughout the U.S. This is a salaried exempt fulltime position targeted at 40 hours per week. The role is expected to be onsite and is assigned to the TBD branch. This role reports to the Name of the Branch Manager of the TBD Branch (based on your location).
Responsibilities
Communicate proactively with purchasing group to confirm demand side needs. Provide feedback / direction to purchasing group when possible.
Keep abreast of market activities and pricing trends. Perform market and customer research to inform solicitation and pricing activities.
Communicate with dispatch logistics and account management teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products ordered
Meet and exceed sales and gross margin goals. The annual sales goal is $10m and the gross margin goal is $1.0m (10% gm on sales).
Proactively monitor account profitability customer satisfaction & loyalty. Takeaction early when necessary.
Cultivate and develop new customer relationships through lead generation and prospecting efforts.
Schedule product (material) shipments. Perform adhoc support through the product delivery cycle
Provide responsive and friendly customer service to project owners
Prioritize workflow and customer needs in face paced environment
Requirements
4year college degree preferred
Growth mindset and grinder orientation
Outstanding sales performer with proven success.
Operating modality that aligns with our guiding principles
Strong data analysis critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Teams and webbased software.
Selfstarter with the ability to ability to prioritize many urgent requests
Willingness to contribute to building an energetic and exciting organization
Existing deal flow with GC or framer project owners in the multifamily space preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written; ability to interact with team members all levels
10 years of selling experience to general contractor (GC) or framer project owners in the multifamily commercial and/or residential construction industries.
