- Application development: Designing developing and maintaining Android applications for a variety of devices
- Collaboration: Working with other engineers and developers as well as designers to create new features and integrate applications with backend services
- Quality assurance: Ensuring the performance quality and responsiveness of applications and identifying and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Code management: Conducting code reviews maintaining code quality and ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Integration: Implementing and integrating APIs and thirdparty libraries
- Testing: Creating tests for code to ensure robustness and performance
- Optimization: Optimizing applications around the limited resources of devices
- Data storage: Organizing data storage properly saving key data discarding unnecessary data delimiting access and providing encryption
