Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for overseeing and managing financial projects to ensure they are completed on time within scope and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance project management and excellent analytical skills. As a Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating crossfunctional teams developing detailed project plans and ensuring financial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans including defining scope goals deliverables timelines and budgets. Ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet all financial and operational objectives.
Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets track expenses and perform cost analysis to ensure financial targets are met. Prepare financial forecasts and reports for stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders including finance teams senior management and external partners. Provide regular updates on project status financial performance and any potential risks.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or financial outcomes.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and project performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and financial controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate crossfunctional project teams ensuring clear communication collaboration and alignment with project goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. PMP CFA) are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial project management financial analysis or a related role.
Proven experience managing complex financial projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent project management skills including experience with project management software and methodologies.
Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
