Shop Helper
Pay:$15/HR.
Hours:Monday Friday 7AM4PM
Job type:Temp to Hire
Location:North Oklahoma City Oklahoma
Join our team as a Shop Helper where youll be responsible for essential tasks that keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What youll be doing:
- Stacking and Lifting:Fill and stack 50 lb. bags using a gravity feeder stacking up to 240 bags per day. Youll also lift and fill 55gallon barrels with empty barrels weighing between 40 to 70 lbs. handling up to 20 barrels daily.You will also ensure the workspace remains organized by arranging and stacking the extra barrels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with changing screens on production equipment which may involve climbing a 12 ft. ladder and lifting 100 lb. screen frames with a team.
- Heavy Equipment Operation:Operate a forklift or other heavy equipment when workload calls for it.
- CleanUp:Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by managing spills shoveling materials into barrels and sweeping when needed.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 lbs.).
- Comfortability performing physical tasks including bending stooping lifting and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours a day).
- Previous Heavy Equipment Handling experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
