Receptionist / Recruiting Assistant

Pay: $1415/HR

Hours:MondayFriday 8AM5PM

Job type:Temp to Hire

StandBy Personnel is seeking a fulltime energetic and hardworking Receptionist/Recruiting Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for applicants and clients playing a key role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth processing of candidates and office tasks.

What youll be doing:

  • Answering and directing calls on a multiline phone system.
  • Greeting applicants assisting with job applications and ensure a smooth interactions.
  • Conduct initial interviews and help with the recruiting process.
  • Handle filing scanning faxing and general data entry tasks.
  • Enter and maintain data with a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
  • Process I9 W4 forms and other required paperwork.
  • Perform background checks and drug screenings.
  • Assist recruiters and learn to recruit and source candidates.
  • Manage applicants and phone calls while completing office tasks.
  • Use Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook for data entry and other tasks.

MustHave Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with attention to detail in data entry.
  • Experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferred.
  • Familiarity with recruiting or staffing services is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
