Job Description
Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Remote (Candidates from Nevada or Northwest region such as Nevada Utah Northern CA or Denver CO will be considered)
Employment Type: Permanent
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and execute multiple capital projects overseeing all aspects from scope development to commissioning and documentation.
- Identify and implement productivity and cost improvements for US Silica operations focusing on process yield throughput operating efficiencies cost savings and best practices.
- Monitor key productivity metrics ensure plant operations meet design conditions and identify further improvement opportunities.
- Document work thoroughly capturing change management and best practices for sharing and implementation.
- Engineer plant upgrades and equipment installations to integrate seamlessly within existing sites.
- Assess mechanical integrity of process equipment and infrastructure developing replacement timelines for capital budgeting.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety environmental compliance throughput quality costs and employee commitment.
- Assist in prioritizing improvement needs and implementing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Required Education Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 5 years of project management or process improvement experience in engineering or leadership capacity
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment in a manufacturing culture focused on safety reliability and process improvement
- Ability to interpret and create technical documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Proficiency in Spreadsheet and Word Processing software Process simulation software Project Management software and other relevant tools
- Compliance with statutory regulatory and organizational procedures to protect the environment and ensure safety
NonNegotiable Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the process industry capacity
- Industry knowledge
- Project management experience
- Proficiency in MS Suite preferably MS Project
NicetoHave Skills:
- Experience with metals/nonmetals mining industrial minerals processing or continuous process manufacturing
- Experience with process modeling instrumentation systems/programs
