Position: Business Insights Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Montvale NJ (Need Locals Only)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
Must have prior/current Sales and Marketing FP&A experience:
Conducting ondemand data analysis (adhoc analysis)
Distributing regularly scheduled reports
Maintaining and updating existing reports and data sources
Gathering analyzing and sharing information about the industry competitors and other relevant marketing factors
Key Responsibilities (Outline Core Responsibilities of Position)
Support strategic projects to identify and implement initiatives for growing sales and profitability including but not limited to: contractor engagement and product analysis sales and marketing programs external partnerships
Conduct indepth evaluations of marketing loyalty programs to derive insights and propose recommendations based on findings along with preparing monthly presentations and reports
Proactively analyze customer data to identify potential prospects opportunities for engagement and product portfolio placements
Analyze and report on effectiveness of product results and marketing programs. Collaborate with marketing to develop standard reports key performance indicators and develop overall approaches on how to measure and report the business.
Continual deep dive analysis into business performance identify data insights that lead to delivering business outcomes
Synthesize data market information and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights and business trend information including financial results of key competitors on quarterly basis
Organize and extract insights from secondary data sources related to paint and home improvement
Responsible for industry/market insights trends to help with BM sales planning/forecasting process
Work closely with Product Marketing team to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design (product usage testing)
Update and distribute reports on a weekly basis consolidate reports ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency
Support and automate recurring reports to increase department and organizational efficiency
Manage various internal ad hoc requests and projects to assist and support Sales Management Marketing and peers with ondemand analytics
Required Skills (Outline Core Requirements including education years of experience position requirements required competencies special requirements such as travel etc.)
B.A. or B.S. in Business Related Field
3 years of experience required in key functional areas outlined above
Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; proficiency with Business Objects and other mining tools; data visualization tools (ie Tableau Qlik Sense)
Ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers. Takes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicableAbility to work in a rapidly evolving environment and quickly grasp new concepts by demonstrating and applying knowledge of these tasks timely and accurately
Establishes and maintains effective relationships by collaborating with customers by fully understanding and meeting their expectations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
This position requires minimal travel on an as needed basis
