Day to day youll:

Deliver technical elements of the prioritized product backlog
Continually improve technical elements of the product in line with the technology strategy and make sure repeatable patterns are in place to ensure we can deliver quickly.
Be proficient in leading technical conversations with stakeholders of varying levels of technical background including Senior Management and Subject Matter Experts
Be a great collaborator across internal external and 3rd party teams.
Drive bestinclass approaches to automation and security
Support Production Service by offering L3 support contributing to problem reviews and root cause analysis to ensure permanent fixes are implemented
Be an SME in Oracle Database Cloud technology
Help Platform teams to get full value from the product including advise on performance tuning and maximising the use of product features

What youll need:

SME/Advanced skill in Oracle Database Administration on Versions 11c/12c/19c including performance tuning patching performing upgrades and Multitenant Administration
Administration of Oracle Cloud resources in OCI
Knowledge of ExaCC/ExaCS ZDLRA appliances
Operating system knowledge: OEL RHEL AIX
Software tools and features: OEM RAC Data Guard DBVault SQL Developer ASM RMAN Data Pump Oracle Resource Manager PL/Sql Oracle Database Advisor framework AWR/ASH Reports Golden Gate
Youll:

Liaise and collaborate with different levels of colleagues up to lab lead to deliver a bestinclass cloud platform
Contribute to or lead on the analysis design and delivery of the product strategy
Lead junior engineers using an Agile Workflow and Agile tooling such as JIRA
Work Closely with Lead engineer and Product owner to deliver the needs of internal customers in line with the product roadmap and vision.
Understand and follow securebydesign and cloud principles contribute to discussions on security automation and engineering approach.
Understand risk process and can identify articulate and provide steps to mitigate.
Operate as a selfstarter able to manage workload and identify and plan next tasks
