Job Summary:As a Credit Analyst you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients. You will analyze financial data to determine the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations. This role is critical in helping our company minimize risks and make informed lending decisions.
Responsibilities:- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Evaluate financial status by producing financial ratios through computer programs.
- Complete loan applications including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests and submit to loan committees for approval.
- Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection.
- Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
- Recommend develop and maintain financial databases computer software systems and manual filing systems.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a credit analyst financial analyst or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial spreadsheets software and statistical analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
