- Proficiency in Azure cloud services with a focus on API Management and networking.
- Experience in handing L2/L3 Support activities
- Understanding on Envoy platform and fundamental knowledge in Apigee ( Google Cloud API Management Platform )
- Expertise in Azure API Management to configure and manage API policies on gateway.
- Strong in API gateway capabilities like security policy routing policy observability policy and Other policies like rate limiting Content Validation Schema Validation(Important)
- Extensive knowledge of API life cycle management API testing frameworks and API specifications (e.g. OpenAPI Swagger).
- Handson experience with WAF technologies and policy enforcement in API gateway contexts.
- Hands on experience in Unix / Linux
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java C# Python JavaScript and shell scripting.
- Experience with source code management tools like Git GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Jenkins XL Release (XLR) and deployment strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and integration of monitoring debugging and troubleshooting tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams using tools like Jira for project management.
- Certification in Azure or API Management (e.g. Azure Fundamentals Azure API Management).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Service Mesh technologies for scalable and resilient API deployments.
- Experience in implementing OAuth authorization mechanisms for API security.
- Understands Kubernetes and its application on API gateway
- Understand ServiceMesh and its application on API Gateway
Experience in YAML builds CI/CD Pipelines
