Job Description
Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Zeeland MINight ShiftOnsite
Salary $45760 to $62400.
SignOn Bonus: UP TO $5000 for new hires in Maintenance Roles!
Pay: Weekly based on experience.
Shifts: Day and Night shifts available. Schedule: Rotating shifts of 5:00 am 5:00 pm or 5:00 pm 5:00 am. 3 days on 3 days off 2 days on 2 days off. Some Sunday work required for reworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support for safe and efficient equipment operation with minimal supervision.
- Perform routine preventative and emergency mechanical or electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge to all assigned production equipment.
- Interact with plant personnel to achieve individual and plant goals.
- Minimize equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and maintenance manuals.
- Work with pumps hydraulics and welding.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical theory system wiring and installation.
Requirements:
- Education: 1 year of maintenance experience preferred (e.g. industrial maintenance diploma or current enrollment in technical school). Electrician or journeyman license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent. Experience with hydraulics welding and compressed air systems required.
- Computer Skills: Basic skills needed to log information process work orders and use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills necessary.
Special Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Repetitive gripping pushing pulling and overhead work.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures from 25 F to over 100 F.
