Job Title: Wireless Communications System Engineer V
Location: Fairfax Virginia (Onsite)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall strategic vision and integrate a broad range of solutions to support project requirements.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives developing or modifying processes to address complex problems in wireless communications systems.
- Develop and apply advanced engineering and design methods theories and research techniques to solve complex system requirements hardware/software interfaces and applications.
- Conduct design development engineering integration and architecture of wireless communications and information systems.
- Supervise teams and perform technical project management functions ensuring projects are completed on time and meet all specifications.
- Conduct studies and research to investigate and solve complex and advanced system requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in land mobile radio cellular radio microwave radio or wireless communications and information systems design and operations.
- Expertise in fundamental concepts processes practices and procedures of wireless communications. Demonstrated ability to apply expertise in multiple complex project assignments.
- Ability to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and preparing solutions to problems showing originality and innovation.
