Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities ensuring efficiency and maintaining quality standards within our facility.
Duties
- Look ahead and set the stage for team success by ensuring appropriate materials tools and staff are present.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of production supervisors and respective team.
- Plan direct or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost quality and quantity specifications.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of production team engaged in cleaning sanitation waste handling and storage activities.
- Confer with other managers/supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Develop healthy working knowledge of manufacturing equipment to maximize productivity as well as demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees.
- Analyze production reports to identify opportunities and lead corresponding improvements (e.g. line efficiency productivity waste).
- Develop train implement and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to sustain improvement projects.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements staffing requirements work procedures and duty assignments considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
- Hire train evaluate and discharge staff and resolve personnel grievances.
- Oversee Employee work restrictions as advised by HR
- Oversees all job material application and job documentation and process in ERP for area
- Manages time & attendance for areas
- Prepare documentation for personnel records to include time and attendance management incident reports and employee counseling forms.
- Strong Knowledge of company internal ERP System and data collection
- Provide feedback and production floor management of employee injuries and safety issues.
- Abide by safety and sanitation regulations and follow all work procedures.
