Job Title: Lead Consultant Cloud Engineer
Location: Princeton NJ Onsite from day1
Bill rate: $60 to $65/hr
Duration: 6 months
In this role you will assist in the development implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge of cloud technologies and a passion for learning and growing in the cloud engineering field.
Responsibilities
Deploy configure and manage cloud resources across various cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance availability and scalability.
Perform routine tasks such as backup management patching and updates to keep cloud environments secure and up to date.
Develop and maintain scripts for automating cloud operations tasks such as provisioning monitoring and scaling.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.
Implement security best practices for cloud environments including access controls encryption and network security.
Assist in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans and work on remediation efforts.
Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Set up and manage monitoring tools and dashboards to track the health and performance of cloud resources.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloudrelated issues including network connectivity resource performance and configuration problems.
Participate in incident response and problem management processes to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
Work closely with development DevOps and IT teams to support cloud infrastructure needs and integrate cloud solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to L1 support teams and assist with escalated issues.
Collaborate on cloud migration projects helping to plan and execute the migration of applications and services to the cloud.
Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure costeffective operations.
Use cloud cost management tools to analyze and report on spending and recommend costsaving strategies.
Implement resource tagging and cost allocation practices to track and manage cloud expenses.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations and processes.
Share knowledge and provide training to team members on cloud tools services and best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Good experience in cloud engineering or system administration with handson experience in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Experience with cloud automation and scripting using tools like Terraform Ansible or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of cloud services and architectures including compute storage networking and security.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch Azure Monitor or Google Stackdriver.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.

Other Requirements:
Availability for oncall support and afterhours maintenance tasks as needed.
