JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Quality Engineer with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSMET) to enhance product quality and performance. The ideal candidate will be a technical professional with strong organizational analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect interpret and analyse quality data with precision and efficiency.
- Read interpret and evaluate part/material prints.
- Develop and manage supplier communication processes; guide suppliers in root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Create and maintain inspection procedures for receiving and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in the assessment and selection of key suppliers.
- Conduct and approve first piece article inspections.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Initiate and perform critical shipment inspections to safeguard customer satisfaction.
- Familiarize with Pumps Product Engineering Design ISO 9001 standards and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and improve assembly processes in collaboration with Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technical advancements.
Experience/Skills
- Knowledge of machining equipment and processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints safety rules and technical documents.
- Strong mathematical skills for statistical analysis and geometry.
- Ability to write reports communicate effectively and handle multiple projects.
- Skilled in problemsolving data analysis and technical instruction interpretation.
- Competent with personal computers including email databases word processing and spreadsheets.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) root cause analysis and design of experiments.
- Selfmotivated capable of working independently and in a team environment with the ability to mentor others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME/BSMET).
- Proven experience in quality engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management practices.
