Job Description
Job Title: GIS Programmer
Location: Fairfax Virginia (Onsite)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Program and maintain spatial GIS applications using Microsoft .NET Python SQL Server Spatial (TSQL) JavaScript HTML CSS and other GIS/spatial development languages.
- Utilize and integrate ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET ArcGIS Python API ArcPy and ArcGIS JavaScript API to build and enhance GIS functionalities.
- Work with spatial data stored in SQL Server Oracle File Geodatabases or other RDBMS. Develop solutions to query analyze and visualize spatial data effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to gather requirements troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that meet user needs.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed applications and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in GIS programming and application development.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools including Microsoft .NET Python SQL Server Spatial (TSQL) JavaScript HTML CSS. Experience with ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET ArcGIS Python API ArcPy and ArcGIS JavaScript API is essential.
- Experience working with spatial data in SQL Server Oracle File Geodatabases or other relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to address complex GIS challenges.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
