Overview:
The Backend Developer will focus on transitioning from Javabased to Node.jsbased microservices and migrating services to AWS ECS Fargate within the Card TechCard Decisioning team at Capital One.
Position:
- Develop maintain and optimize Node.js microservices.
- Support AWS ECS and Fargatebased platform services.
- Assist in migrating Javabased microservices to Node.js.
- Build scalable backend solutions with AWS integration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Node.js microservices.
- Migrate Javabased services to Node.js.
- Integrate with AWS services like SQS Lambda and Aurora SQL.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot critical issues.
- Optionally implement AWS Step Functions.
Requirement Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in AWS (ECS SQS Lambda Fargate).
- Experience with Java Spring Boot and Aurora SQL.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka or similar).
- Goodtohave: AWS Step Functions experience.
