Job Description
Digital Media Buyer provides digital media recommendations and offers resourceful problemsolving both internally and externally while maintaining successful client relationships. S/he prepares works closely with Digital Media planners and ensures seamless execution of media plans for assigned client accounts.
This position will have responsibility to manage daytoday buying and analysis while maintaining strong relationships with media vendors clients and partner agencies. The responsibilities are many various and not limited to those written in this document. These responsibilities must be directed continuously toward maintaining exceptional service to the client and providing timely deliverables i.e. Media Plans PointofViews (POVs) and related media analyses
- Expertise with All Things Digital : As the digital media buyer will be in charge of placing and helping clients bid for topnotch media platform advertisement spots the digital media buyer needs to be on top of things in media.
- Meeting clients to understand their advertising strategy and building up a picture about their target audience
- Presenting media proposals including timings and cost breakdowns helping clients to reach a final decision about their future advertising strategy.
- Advising the creative team and clients about the most effective media combination
- Obtaining the best advertising rates that fit with the agreed media strategy
- Managing budgets and maintaining advertising spend records.
- Maintains media plans including changes budgeting execution reporting optimization and invoice reconciliation
