Job Description
Sr Data Engineer (Only Local to Dallas TX area)
Rate$5560/hr. on W2
LocationDallas TX (3 days a week)
The team
As a part of Product Engineering Services practice we are looking for a talented Sr. Data Engineer to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.
The role
- Assembling large complex sets of data that meet nonfunctional and functional business requirements
- Identifying designing and implementing internal process improvements including redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability optimizing data delivery and automating manual processes
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
- Working with stakeholders including data design product and application teams and assisting them with datarelated technical issues
- Working with stakeholders including the Application Product Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with datarelated technical issues
- Build and optimize data sets big data data pipelines and architectures
- Perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions
- Apply analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets
- Build processes that support data transformation workload management data structures dependency and metadata
- Demonstrated understanding and experience using software and tools including data tools like AWS Glue; NoSQL and SQL databases including DynamoDB and Postgres; and object function/objectoriented scripting languages including nodeJS Java and Python.
What youll bring
- Experienced on Creating Configuring and Subscribing to the APIs (Rest SOAP XML)
- Experienced in Analyzing structured and unstructured data from different sources based on project needs and demonstrating the Analysis to the business for the Sign off
- Demonstrated understanding and experience using software and tools including data tools like AWS Glue; NoSQL and SQL databases including DynamoDB and Postgres; and object function/objectoriented scripting languages including nodeJS Java and Python.
- Knowledge on the Cloud Technologies
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc) databases (SQL etc) programming (XML Javascript or ETL frameworks)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Expert in writing database queries analyze output and presenting findings
- Experienced on working with OAuth IAM User Security Tokens
- Excellent interpersonal business communication and writing skills
- Detailoriented and Customer service focused
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experienced on Postman Jira Confluence
