JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in promoting a peoplefirst culture and ensuring exceptional performance and teamwork across the HR&C organization. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of accountability trust collaboration development and results aligned with the short and longterm objectives of the HR&C organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Educate managers employees contractors and retirees on HR policies plans programs practices processes and tools (e.g. compensation benefits development projects EEO).
Handle frontline HR customer contacts and resolve inquiries related to pay retirement life events customer transactions relocation administration employment verifications talent planning development and performance administration employee recognition employee relations benefits and compensation.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in case management data entry and commentary in gateway technology.
Forward complex inquiries to the appropriate resource seamlessly ensuring appropriate followup as needed.
Ensure receipt and storage of appropriate documentation identifying and reporting HR system issues.
Provide recommendations based on daily activities and call trends to update simplify and enhance processes procedures and technologies.
Assist with the implementation of new/redesigned programs policies and services providing feedback as the customers first line of contact.
Maintain and ensure the integrity of HR database in the processing of transactions and related forms.
Review analyze and process needed data updates based on HR system reports.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR policies plans programs and processes.
Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
Ability to handle complex inquiries and forward them to appropriate resources.
Proficiency in using HR systems and databases.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
Capability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
With this posting we are looking for someone with a service mindset and general HR knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities.
Specifically this role will include responsibilities of processing transactions for employees and contractors.
Attention to detail is required.
In addition candidate should have strong ability to read understand & follow TVA policies procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
