Description: The Commercial Manager will play a critical role in driving the commercial success of the company by managing and optimizing commercial activities. This position involves developing strategic plans overseeing sales and marketing efforts negotiating contracts and ensuring the companys financial objectives are met. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Commercial Head to implement commercial strategies that align with the companys goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the development and implementation of commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion business development etc.).
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
2. Sales and Marketing Management:
- Oversee the sales and marketing teams to ensure the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage key accounts and ensure strong customer relationships.
3. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for commercial activities.
- Analyze and report on sales performance profitability and expenses.
- Ensure pricing strategies are competitive and align with company objectives.
4. Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients vendors and partners.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial transactions.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with contracts and commercial activities.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead mentor and develop the commercial team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture within the team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. finance operations R and amp;D) to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
- Communicate effectively with the Commercial Head and provide regular updates on commercial activities and performance.
- Represent the company in meetings conferences and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related fieldCA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of X years of experience in a commercial or business management role preferably within industry/sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of market research and data analysis.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
