Job Title: Application Developer
Location: Glasgow
Job Type: Contract
Duration : 6 Months
Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design Build Configure Applications: Develop applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- SME Role: Act as a Subject Matter Expert leading team decisions and collaborating across multiple teams.
- ProblemSolving: Provide innovative solutions to challenges faced by your team and others.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct code reviews implement best practices and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive ongoing enhancements.
Required Skills:
- Java: Expert proficiency
- AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS): Intermediate proficiency
- Spring Boot: Advanced proficiency
- CI/CD: Intermediate proficiency
Desirable Attributes:
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking abilities
- Effective communication skills for crossfunctional collaboration
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and implement best practices
