Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: North of Italy/Naples ITALY & UAE
Duration : 3 Months Contract
Position Mission:
The Electrical Engineer will primarily focus on the design of electrical parts assemblies and devices related to contactless measurement systems for railway and steelworks applications. The role includes the development and maintenance of project documentation such as bills of materials (BOMs) and other related documents as well as selecting appropriate electrical/electronic components. The engineer must ensure that systems comply with international technical standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure design compliance with project requirements legal regulations and applicable standards.
- Adhere to project milestones as agreed with the Project Manager (PM) and Team Leader.
- Minimize manufacturing costs (both parts production and product assembly).
- Develop SPAC models and electrical schematics.
- Create electrical BOMs.
- Estimate the effort required for task implementation.
- Document design specifications and implementation details.
- Collaborate with other team members (including optical and electronic engineers) to finalize system designs and interfaces.
- Work with other departments (Supply Chain Operations Quality Control) to ensure the required quality of parts and products.
- Select PLCs and perform PLC programming in certain applications.
Technical Skills Qualifications and Professional Experience:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Aeronautical Naval Mechatronics).
- Minimum 3 years (ideally 5 years) of experience in electrical design of panels machines or automation.
- Experience with CAD systems (SPAC preferred) is a plus.
- Knowledge of EU Directives and international technical standards is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Office.
- Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
- Availability for occasional national and international travel.
- Knowledge of SW SPAC is an advantage.

Additional Notes:

- Availability to work onsite at least 3 days a week.
