Job Title : Sr. Business Continuity Planning(BCP) and Disaster Recovery(DR) Management Specialist
Job Type : C2C
Experience : 815 Years
Location : Plano Texas
Responsibilities:
- Experience in business continuity planning disaster recovery or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of BCP and DR methodologies frameworks and industry best practices.
- Experience with risk assessment business impact analysis and crisis management.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure including data centers cloud environments networks and storage systems.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication presentation and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or MBCP (Master Business Continuity Professional) are preferred.
- Experience with disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to business continuity and disaster recovery such as ISO 22301.
- Experience in conducting tabletop exercises and realtime simulations to test disaster recovery plans.
- Develop implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical business functions and the resources required to support them.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Test and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans regularly to ensure effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standards and best practices related to BCP and DR.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Lead and manage crisis management teams during an actual disaster ensuring effective communication and decisionmaking.
- Report on the status of business continuity and disaster recovery efforts to senior management.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
