Job description
- Strong IT service management skills
- Should have exposure to ITSM ticketing tools i.e ServiceNow Cherwell Symphony Summit etc.
- Good interpersonal organization and customer services skills
- Experience of working within Change Configuration or Release in a demanding and complex environment.
- Professional Certifications
- ITIL Intermediate OR Expert Certified
- Certification on market leading ITSM ticketing tools would be preferred
- Change Management Process
- Description Change management process is responsible to manage the lifecycle of all changes. This process ensures that changes are recorded and evaluated and that authorized changes are prioritized planned tested implemented documented and reviewed in a controlled manner
- Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as focal point for all IT infrastructure and application related changes
- Drive adoption and adherence of Change management process across the organization
- Responsible for ensuring correct approvals for changes ensure change freeze periods are adhered to and uses judgment to assess risk and impact for exceptions
- Responsible for running and management of the weekly CAB review & approve changes communication reporting and metrics process improvement
- Monitor and take appropriate actions on expedited and emergency changes outside business hours. Also drive the reduction on the number of Emergency Changes due to lack of planning
- Drive emergency changes via emergency change management process
- Work closely with release management teams to coordinate and manage ChangeRelease requests through all phases of their lifecycle
- Develop and distribute weeklymonthly dashboards related to all Change activities. Establish KPIs and measure the effectiveness of all Changes implemented.
- Leading the assessment analysis development documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for change
- Manage stakeholder expectations with respect to change and management activities. Act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders. Communicate planned change and release activities with all stakeholders and management
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by interacting with various teams and recommend improvements for change management
