Job Title: Design to Production (D2P) Training Leader
Location: Remote with travel to NY as per need

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Design to Production (D2P) Training Leader to lead the development and delivery of training programs focused on our D2P processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipping our teams with the knowledge and skills needed to streamline the transition from design to production ensuring highquality outputs and adherence to project timelines. This role requires deep expertise in design and production workflows as well as strong training and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
Design and develop comprehensive training materials for D2P processes including detailed manuals interactive elearning modules and workshop content.
Continuously update training resources to reflect the latest best practices tools and technologies in the D2P workflow.
Training Delivery:
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for design and production teams covering all aspects of the D2P process from initial design through to final production.
Tailor training sessions to meet the specific needs of different departments and roles within the organization.
Process Optimization:
Work closely with design engineering and production teams to identify inefficiencies in the D2P process and develop training solutions to address these gaps.
Lead initiatives to improve crossfunctional collaboration between design and production teams ensuring smooth handoffs and consistent output quality
Needs Assessment and Feedback:
Perform training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans to address them.
Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve the training programs.
Collaboration:
Partner with department heads and project managers to ensure training aligns with project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with HR to integrate D2P training into the onboarding process for new hires.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams posttraining to ensure the successful implementation of D2P processes.
Address any challenges or issues that arise during the D2P workflow and provide solutions to overcome them.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs using performance metrics and make datadriven decisions to enhance training content and delivery.
Prepare reports on training outcomes including improvements in workflow efficiency and production quality.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Design Manufacturing or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
Experience:
5 years of experience in design production or manufacturing with a focus on process optimization and workflow management.
Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
Skills:
Deep understanding of D2P workflows including CAD software production planning and quality control processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills capable of handling multiple training projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in elearning development tools and platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in design production or manufacturing processes are highly desirable.
