Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Active Directory Engineer for our direct client.
Location: Sunnyvale CA
Duration: 12 Months
Estimated pay range: 71.11 88.88 per client contract and candidate skills experience and work location.
Job Description
- The Senior Active Directory Engineer provides support implementation and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windowsbased systems across the enterprise including directory and identity management solutions.
- Resolves and appropriately completes assigned tasks and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues.
- Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new
- application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business.
- The core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory ADFS Microsoft Certificate Services policy configuration and toplevel support for enterprisewide initiatives.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Active Directory architecture Sites and Services and management expertlevel
- Expert knowledge in creating administering and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs) expertlevel
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) SAML SSO (Okta preferred) expertlevel
- Scripting Experience: PowerShell and VBScript Expertlevel
- Public key infrastructure (PKI) expertlevel Based on Microsoft technologies
- Distributed File System including both DFSN and DFSR expertlevel
- Windows Server Operating Systems (2012 R2 to 2019) midlevel Configuration and security setup with firewalls
- Develops security standards and controls per DISA STIGS and CISA requirements midlevel VMware vSphere and HyperV Virtualization midlevel**
- Project Management
- Who can provide documentation
- Experience with Disaster recovery experience is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Networking DNS DHCP expertlevel
- Authentication Kerberos NTLM expertlevel
- Windows Certificates Services Management expertlevel
- Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect midlevel

Education and Certifications
- Microsoft Windows ServerAdministration (MCSE MCITP certification)
- B.S. degree in a computer science information technology and computer related discipline or 7 years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment.
