IT Infrastructure Head

The IT Infrastructure Head is responsible for leading and managing the companys IT infrastructure strategy and operations. This includes overseeing the design implementation and maintenance of the companys IT infrastructure ensuring high availability scalability and security of the systems. The role involves managing a team of IT professionals collaborating with other departments and aligning IT infrastructure with the overall business objectives.

• Infrastructure Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement the IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments in infrastructure that support business growth and efficiency.
  • Plan and manage the infrastructure budget ensuring costeffective solutions and maximum ROI.

• Network and Systems Management:

  • Oversee the design deployment and management of the companys network infrastructure including LAN WAN VPN and wireless networks.
  • Ensure the stability security and scalability of servers storage systems and databases.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure etc.) and ensure seamless integration with onpremises systems.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies standards and procedures to protect the organizations data and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards such as GDPR HIPAA or ISO 27001.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits and manage incident response and disaster recovery plans.

• Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Oversee the recruitment training and performance evaluation of the IT infrastructure team.
  • Promote collaboration between the IT infrastructure team and other departments to ensure that IT services meet business needs.

• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and that the company is getting value from its technology investments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including senior management to understand their infrastructure needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs.

• Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure the reliability and availability of IT systems minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure performance implementing best practices and continuous improvement processes.
  • Oversee the management of data centers including physical and virtual servers storage systems and backup solutions.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL PMP CISSP) is a plus.

• Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT environments including network servers storage and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in IT security compliance and risk management.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of network architecture server management cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL).

• Leadership Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities with a focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Location: Hyderabad
• Working Conditions: Shift timing 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM
