Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer
- Location: Lexington MA (Onsite 12 days/month)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background:
The Group is in search of an innovative and highly motivated senior software engineer. The Group focuses on driving analytics to take advantage of vast and rapidly expanding biological datasets to address national security needs. The Groups efforts include developing software architectures and systems bioinformatics tools and AI algorithms to further the nations efforts in chemical and biological defense biosecurity public and global health and warfighter performance. Our multidisciplinary team works on integrating data from molecular/genomic levels to physiological system scales while ensuring systems and data remain secure and private.
Responsibilities:
This individual will support the development of an advanced analytics data hub leveraging a repository of harmonized data model development and a user workbench based in a secure cloud. The data hub requires the development of pipelines for processing big data from wearable devices electronic health records and multiomics data. Developing software to interface with local and cloud based APIs and databases guide technical design and development and handling PII in compliance with IL4 requirements. The ideal candidate will also have experience connecting geographic information systems with remote databases through API endpoints writing dynamic web applications and identify management.
