Job Description
Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML and Python to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies business trends and AWS platforms. You will be responsible for developing designing and implementing data platforms using AWS.
Responsibilities:
1. Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines in AWS.
2. Leverage best practices in continuous integration and deployment.
3. Utilize understanding of cloud computing technologies business drivers and emerging trends to build robust scalable and optimized data platforms.
4. Develop and deliver AWS cloud solutions to meet business objectives.
5. Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
6. Use AI/ML tools and algorithms to build data models.
7. Work with Python and other technologies to access AWS services and resources.
8. Participate in strategic planning discussions with technical and nontechnical partners.
9. Conduct detailed analysis of problem domains and customer requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an AWS Data Engineer or similar role.
3. Solid experience with AI and machine learning.
4. Expertise in Python SQL and other scripting languages.
5. Strong understanding of AWS services including S3 Redshift EC2 EMR Kinesis and DynamoDB.
6. Familiarity with AWS big data and analytics services such as Athena Glue and QuickSight.
7. Experience with data modeling data warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
8. Familiarity with data architecture including data ingestion ETL and transformation.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. AWS Certified Big Data Specialty credential is a plus.
