Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Global Mobility Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our global mobility programs ensuring seamless international assignments and relocations for our employees. You will collaborate with HR legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and manage global mobility policies and procedures including international assignments relocations and visa processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate employee relocations ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance to employees and management on global mobility issues including tax implications relocation benefits and cultural adjustments.
- Manage vendor relationships with relocation service providers immigration consultants and tax advisors.
- Monitor and analyze global mobility trends and compliance issues recommending improvements to policies and processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of international assignments and relocations including visa status and assignment details.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll and benefits administration for expatriates and international employees.
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws tax regulations and global mobility best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources International Business or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g. GMS Global Mobility Specialist) preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in global mobility international HR or a related role.
- Strong understanding of global immigration tax regulations and relocation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
