Job Description
Position: UI QA Automation Engineer (Mobile Apps with Xamarin/Maui)
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybird)
Duration: 12 Months
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented UI QA Automation Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience specializing in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Xamarin or Maui frameworks and a strong background in building and executing automated test scripts for mobile apps. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation:
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Xamarin.UITest Appium or similar frameworks.
- Focus on UI testing ensuring the mobile apps deliver a seamless and consistent user experience across various devices and OS versions.
- Automate test cases for both Android and iOS platforms leveraging Xamarin or Maui for crossplatform development.

Mobile App Testing:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications including functional UI usability performance and regression testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and enhancements and create corresponding test plans and cases.
- Identify document and track defects in bug tracking tools working closely with developers to resolve issues.

Test Strategy & Planning:
- Define and implement test strategies for mobile applications focusing on automated testing to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing tools frameworks and methodologies to improve testing processes.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices and mobile app testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on mobile app testing and automation.
- Proficiency in Xamarin.UITest Appium or similar test automation frameworks.
- Experience with crossplatform development frameworks like Xamarin or Maui.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS Android) and their respective UI/UX guidelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes especially in the context of mobile app development.
- Solid experience with test case management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloudbased mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing.
