Catholic Musician Keyboardist Community Chapel
1 The Catholic Musician shall provide instrumental music for Roman Catholic worship events at all weekend special Catholic services and all Holy Days of Obligation and other special Catholic services as required by AMS the Catholic Chaplain or the presiding priest. The musician will provide musical support and direct choir performances rehearsals and special services such as devotions and celebrations of sacraments such as Stations of the Cross and funerals when needed. The Catholic Musician will provide high quality musical accompaniment according to AMS standards and deliverables described in 3.8 as confirmed by the Catholic Chaplain or assigned priest.
2 Qualifications. The Catholic Musician Shall:
2.1 Have experience providing music in a Catholic Church or Catholic chapel setting.
2.2 Be competent in playing a wide range of Catholic music to include the traditional contemporary and liturgical styles.
2.3 Be able to read and play parts and harmony. Vocal abilities are a plus.
3 Duties and Responsibilities. The Catholic Musician shall:
3.1 Serve as accompanist for all regular Catholic Services and special services in coordination with the Catholic Music Director under the direction of the Catholic Chaplain or officiating priest.
3.2 Be present at least 15 minutes before rehearsals and 30 minutes before Mass or other worship services that the Catholic Chaplain or officiating priest has coordinated for musical support.
3.3 Provide accompaniment for weekly choir rehearsals.
3.4 Ensure equipment used by the musician is properly stored and protected at the end of each practice or performance.
4 Special Services.
4.1 Provide musical accompaniment for all special services to include rehearsals. The following is a nonexhaustive list of required special days on which a service or services can be expected annually. Any additional services not listed below must still be provided as required by the AMS the Catholic Chaplain or presiding priest.

Stations of the Cross
Lenten Penance
Holy Thursday
Good Friday
Easter Vigil
Assumption of Mary (15 August)
All Saints Day (1 November)
Immaculate Conception (8 December)
Advent Penance service
All Christmas Events)
Funerals
First Holy Communion
Bishop/Confirmation
