Bellman

• Greet arriving residents and retrieving their luggage.
• Deliver luggage messages faxes and packages to residents and to undertake various other requests to ensure their comfort.
• Transport departing residents luggage from unit to the lobby ensuring that the resident has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
• Assist with keeping valets podium lobby area and the outside of the building clean and orderly.
• Conduct a daily random inspection for the public areas & report any incidence or damage to the Front office team to be recorded in the Tracking sheet.
• Ensure that luggage has been stored safely according to prescribed procedures.
• Be fully aware of what functions are going on in the condominium.
• Provide gracious attentive and friendly service.
• Other duties as required.
• Provide guests relations contact and assistance to all hotel guests and patrons.
• Ensure the smooth flow of service during all checkin and checkout and room change
• Maintain cleanliness of luggage store at all times
• Welcome and Escort guests to rooms and explain facilities of room.
• To be stationed at the entrance/lobby when not on errands
• To unload luggage in cars buses and taxis of incoming and outgoing Guests
• Ensure with guests during checkout that no personal belongings are left behind.
• Replace receptionist whenever needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Tourism or any related study or certification preferred
• Must have at least 1 yr experience as a bellman
• Must be willing to work on shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must have good English skills. Native Arabic skills is desirable.
• Must have computer skills.
• Must be able to move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 80 pounds.
  
• Ability to work in a teamoriented highvolume fastpaced guestcentric environment.
