Job Description
Job Specifics:
- Location: Sandton Johannesburg
- Type: Hybrid (Onsite for the first 3 months thereafter hybrid)
- Fulltime permanent
About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced and highly competent Scrum Master to join a dynamic and innovative team within a fastgrowing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in Agile project management facilitating effective communication and collaboration within crossfunctional teams. This role requires someone who has a deep understanding of Agile methodologies strong organizational skills and the ability to foster an Agile mindset to drive team success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Guide and coach the team on Agile practices and principles to promote selforganization and highquality output.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the teams alignment with the product vision roadmap and goals.
- Remove obstacles that may hinder the teams progress proactively addressing potential blockers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Monitor team performance identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and team morale.
- Act as a bridge between technical and nontechnical teams ensuring clear and effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Continuously support and refine Agile processes to ensure optimal project flow and efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors Degree (BCom) in Project Management or a related field.
- Experience:
- 34 years of proven experience working as a Scrum Master in a professional setting.
- Technical Competency:
- While coding is not required a solid understanding of software development processes is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence or similar) and methodologies.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
- Problemsolving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with an emphasis on detail and quality.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and Agile team environment.
