Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians ensuring high safety and operational standards.
- Oversee and participate in handson maintenance tasks to ensure effective equipment performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to optimize equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of handson industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Leadership: At least 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports in a manufacturing setting.
- Union Experience: Familiarity with a unionized work environment is preferred.
- Mechanical Knowledge: A mechanical background is beneficial.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in industrial or heavy manufacturing maintenance leadership roles.
- Ability to manage rotating 12hour shift schedules maintaining consistent performance and engagement across day and night shifts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an emphasis on safety and productivity.
