Job Title: AWS Network Engineer (10 12 Yrs. of expr.)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Network Engineer to design implement and manage network infrastructure in our cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services and network architectures ensuring secure scalable and highly available cloudbased network solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud networking automation and a commitment to maintaining best practices in security and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy AWS network architectures including VPCs subnets NAT gateways transit gateways VPN connections and Direct Connect.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security solutions including security groups NACLs AWS WAF and network encryption to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain network automation scripts using tools such as AWS CloudFormation Terraform and scripting languages like Python to streamline deployment and management tasks.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance troubleshoot issues and optimize AWS network infrastructure for cost efficiency latency reduction and scalability.
- Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps application and security teams to integrate network solutions with other AWS services ensuring seamless connectivity and secure communications.
- Disaster Recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies for network components in AWS ensuring business continuity.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of AWS network configurations architectures and standard operating procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay uptodate with the latest AWS networking features and best practices recommending improvements and updates to the cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Relevant AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty) are highly desirable.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in cloud network engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
Technical Skills: - Proficient in designing and managing AWS VPCs subnets route tables security groups and other networking components.
- Experience with VPN technologies Direct Connect and AWS Transit Gateway.
- Familiarity with network automation tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform and scripting with Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of DNS services such as Route 53 and content delivery networks like CloudFront.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices in a cloud environment.
Soft Skills: - Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with a focus on delivering secure reliable and scalable solutions.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent certification
