Job Description
Summary: We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and modernization of complex IT solutions within the rail transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of IT experience and more than 10 years of technology architecture expertise with a strong background in enterprise frameworks eventdriven architectures and rail system modernization.
Position Info:
- Title: Enterprise Architect
- Client: Amtrak
- Duration: 12 Months
- Location: Washington DC 20002
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement architecture solutions for rail transportation systems.
- Utilize enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF BizBok and DAMA.
- Modernize largescale rail transportation systems using eventdriven architecture.
- Work with technologies including IBM Mainframe TPF Java and Springbased microservices.
- Apply enterprise information management and architectural modeling techniques.
- Lead crossfunctional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 15 years of IT experience with 10 years in technology architecture.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF BizBok and DAMA.
- Proven experience with eventdriven architectures and largescale system modernization.
- Familiarity with IBM Mainframe TPF Java and Springbased microservices.
- Strong communication skills with experience leading teams and engaging both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SAFe methodologies.
