We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our client a regional accounting and advisory firm located in Fairfax Virginia. This role is essential for the continued growth of the firm and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing taxrelated matters and ensuring compliance for various clients.

Skills
- 4 years of public accounting experience
- CPA certification required
- Strong tax research skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with CCH ProSystems or Axcess is a plus
- Ability to review and prepare 1040 corporate partnership estate trusts and multistate returns for clients in various sectors including manufacturing construction nonprofit and employee benefit plans
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for various clients
- Review and prepare tax returns including 1040 corporate partnership estate trusts and multistate returns
- Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Mentor and train junior staff in tax processes and procedures
Qualifications
- CPA certification is mandatory
- Proven experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
