Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Logistics Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to promote our logistics services build client relationships and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the logistics sector.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular followups to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends competitive landscape and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
Marketing:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract potential clients.
Utilize digital marketing techniques to enhance online presence and engagement.
Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and maintain customer relationships.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present proposals to clients highlighting our logistics solutions and value propositions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure agreements.
Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance and report on key metrics to management.
- Provide feedback to improve service offerings based on client insights.
- Utilize Basecamp as the platform for reports and collaboration.
Operations:
- Manage pricing and booking of shipments efficiently.
- Software/platforms to be used: TMS and Banyan
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing Logistics or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics services market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Good experience in project management tools.
- Familiarity with MailChimp Pipedrive and Lead Generation tools such as Apollo is a plus.
