Job Description
Job Title: Edge Computing Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop edge computing architectures and solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate edge computing with existing cloud and onpremise systems.
- Optimize data processing and storage at the edge to improve performance and reduce latency.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of edge computing applications.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in edge computing and recommend best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure security and compliance of edge computing solutions in line with organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience in edge computing IoT cloud computing or related areas.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing microservices and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C.
- Experience with edge computing platforms (e.g. AWS Greengrass Azure IoT Edge Google Cloud IoT).
- Experience in data analytics and machine learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. MQTT CoAP 5G).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data security and privacy regulations (GDPR HIPAA).
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
