Job Description
Job Title : Warehouse Assistant
Location: DFW Airport TX 75261
Working Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm CST
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Materials & Warehouse Manager the Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving stocking issuing shipping and maintaining parts and supplies at the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials for damage and verify compliance with orders.
- Issue materials to authorized staff and update inventory records.
- Stock shelves organize materials and assist with inventory counts.
- Serve as a liaison with staff service providers and suppliers to resolve inventory issues.
- Review and track requisitions and purchase orders.
- Operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts and banding machines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of warehouse experience.
- Valid Class C drivers license.
- Ability to operate a forklift and computerized inventory systems.
- Must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Operate warehouse equipment and drive on airport premises.
