Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. This entrylevel position offers full benefits and the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of materials and products adhering to strict production standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow within the manufacturing industry this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects ensuring they meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct routine visual inspections and measurements using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
- Document and report nonconformance issues or defects to supervisors and the production team.
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure product consistency.
- Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs records and data entry using quality management systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions for quality improvements.
- Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining organized workstations.
- Support the production team by providing timely feedback on any qualityrelated issues.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills with the ability to detect even minor defects or inconsistencies.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to use basic math for measurements calculations and recordkeeping.
- HandEye Coordination: Good motor skills to handle and inspect materials precisely.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify issues and offer solutions to improve product quality.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and support production goals.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery and inspection tools.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to training on quality control processes and standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
