Job Description
Physical Therapist
Location: Redding CA 96001
Schedule: 10hr. shift 7:00am to 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $5052.00/hr.
Summary
Demonstrates competency in physical therapy for pediatric adult and/or geriatric patients. The incumbent provides patient assessments develops and implements individual patient treatment programs provides therapeutic interventions utilizing current and effective methodologies and maintains effective documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the specialty must have at least 1 year recent Acute care hospital experience
- Firsttime travelers: Yes
- EMR: Cerner
- Weekend Requirement: will work every 3rd weekend
- Holidays: Work into perm staff rotation for all modalities
Common diagnosis / Types of patients:
PT cardiac stroke (the facility is stroke certified) ortho ICU neuro medsurg primarily
They have a pediatrics ward and a neonatal ICU that has a lowvolume caseload
Travelers are not required to work in the NICU
NICU or pediatrics experience IS NOT REQUIRED
Additional Notes: Staff for PT is covered 7days a week. PT has a team leader when the manager is not there.
