Job Description

As a Principal Project Manager you will:
  • Lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery adherence to budget and quality assurance.
  • Oversee the management of project time cost and quality applying industrystandard techniques such as Prince2 for change control risk management and issue resolution.
  • Plan estimate and allocate resources effectively to achieve project milestones taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans using tools like ServiceNow and EBA ensuring compliance with project management best practices and organizational directives.
  • Monitor and control project financials and timelines to ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Represent the organization in relevant committees steering groups and boards fostering strong relationships with industry bodies and partners.
  • Provide briefings organize meetings and sustain communications with internal and external stakeholders including top management.
  • Supervise and mentor project teams providing guidance motivation and professional development.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements relevant to the field and participate in training as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A Masters degree with at least 5 years of relevant postgraduate experience or a Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • A recognized project management qualification (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner MSP PMI) with significant experience (8 years) managing major communication and/or information systems projects for large organizations.
  • Experience with multidiscipline engineering and management techniques for complex acquisitions in communication and information systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively brief senior management.
  • A proactive approach to stakeholder management and trustbuilding.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Apply standard project management techniques (Prince2 PMI Agile) to manage change risk and issue resolution.
  • Develop project plans manage budgets and allocate resources using tools like ServiceNow and EBA.
  • Lead and motivate highperformance teams ensuring clear guidance and task assignment.
  • Manage external suppliers contracts and procurement processes effectively including negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Lead project boards and manage escalations with senior management.
  • Work effectively in a diverse international environment with both public and private sector stakeholders.
